It's raining today. Surprise! : | (source: we ♥ it) |
My first exam is tomorrow, so of course I decided to post something on the blog. :P And, I saw that I've lost 4 followers since I went on break. And I haven't posted in ages. So.
- It's actually Words on Paper's first blogoversary VERY soon. Tomorrow, in fact. However, I've pushed that until next week when I come back from this break, just so I can have a clearer head when I get back (I have another exam after I return, but I figured it's been long enough). There will be an *international* giveaway, and I hope there will be a big turnout.
- You wouldn't believe how many great books I've received/bought since my last In My Mailbox (3 weeks ago). I'll top it up for one month so that I can hang my head in shame at the total lack of control I have haha.
- Giveaway: Jay Asher's new paperback edition for Thirteen Reasons Why will be reaching TWO international homes soon - giveaway, baby! Due for late June.
- Giveaway: There will be THREE e-books of Ladystar: The Dreamspeaker by W. Scott up for grabs! Due for late June. (18+ only, publisher email regulations apply)
- Giveaway: Bloomsbury prize pack, including A Beautiful Lie, Tyme's End, plus a mystery book and some assorted swag. Due for mid-July. (Aussie only)
- Reviews are being written. I haven't been reading as much as I'd like, but there have been so many great books that I've read lately. Publishers and authors, your books are top priority as always ...
- Since my last IMM, I have read (these will be mentioned in the next IMM too): Graceling by Kristin Cashore, What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen, Beauty Queens by Libba Bray and Winter’s Shadow by M.J. Hearle.
- I will be reading The Taste of Apple by James Laidler next, followed by Alaska by Sue Saliba and Black Painted Fingernails by Steven Herrick. Aussie YA streak, anyone?
- I did a complete rearrangement of my personal library. :) I'll provide photos after all these exams and I've cleaned up the rest of my room LOL.
