Hmm...thanks to all those who visit my little blog. :) Just a tiny announcement that I will be posting less frequently than before, so maybe like once every few days or so. Don't un-follow me just yet! I will be hosting a BIG giveaway around October/November to celebrate my graduating high school & finishing all my exams. It'll start November 4th...just letting you know. ;) Write a note of it, or bookmark, or something! I will have reminders every month leading up to it, so maybe some people will stick around just for that. Yes, book blogging isn't all about followers, HOWEVER, I feel sad when I post reviews for these awesome books and they don't get quite the recognition they deserve.
So, keep on reading & visiting my blog! Perhaps I'll also have a prize for top commentator-- I really appreciate all those who comment! I read each and every one, and sometimes I can't get back to you on your blog, but I'm sincerely sorry for that. :)
Onto my questions:
- Over the course of an average week, how many books do you read? For book bloggers, how many reviews do you get around to posting, usually?
- Book bloggers, do you blog everyday? Why, why not?
- Readers, does it matter significantly whether or not a blogger posts everyday, or just a few times a week? Quality over quantity?
- What do you all think of weekly memes, such as those that I do on my blog? (IMM, Mondayreading, TeaserTuesday, WaitingonWednesday, Follow Friday, Blog Hop...) Waste of time, or interesting and fun? A good way to find new blogs & books? Or just filler?
I think that's all for now. I'm going to post this in lieu of my Monday meme post (I only read one this week- The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson). I'd like to know what you guys think, and thanks to those who bother to answer them! :D I'm kind of in a slump right now...mostly because my whole life seems to be plummeting. I don't know where anything is going, and I wish I could just read from now until forever. All of you would like to do that though, wouldn't you?

I'm a really slow and meticulous reader, so it'll me from 3 days to a week to finish a book. Usually, I manage to finish around 4 to 5 books a month if I read a little every day. I do hope to read more though.
As for blogging, yeah, I would like to do that every day too but I will need ideas. I can do memes but it's not enough. All the same, doing memes is good for making friends.
Since I subscribe to over 200+ book blogs, I don't mind if they post daily or every other day. I don't really have time to read them all!
Weekly memes are great but shouldn't be the only things on a blog. :) Yes, they're just fillers.
Great, thoughtful questions by the way. Exactly what I was thinking sometime back. :)
1. I read 2 a week average. I post reviews right after I read or would never get around to it.
2. I don't blog everyday. I do IMMB, occassionally Blog hop, and my reviews.
3. I read a lot of blogs, and I prefer quality. I subscribe to many, so I honestly don't know how many a week each blogger posts, I just read what titles interest me.
4. With yours, as well as all blogs, I read what interests me, and skip the rest. The only memes I usually pay attention to are IMMB and the hop when I do that.
1. I read at least 2, and post around 2 reviews
2. I blog at least twice a day :) Cause i love it!
3. I don't mind either way, I try read it all :)
4. I love memes!
Short and sweet :)
1. Over the course of an average week I read anywhere between 2-5 books and post 1 or 2 reviews. I want to get in the habit of posting more reviews.
2. I don't blog every day, but I'm moving in that direction, especially since I am attempting to post more reviews.
3. I read posts from Google Reader, and I follow a ton of blogs - I typically don't notice how often people post honestly. If you're posting at least once a week, I'm still interested.
4. I like the memes.
Wow! You and your readers read a lot of books each week! When I was on holiday, I read one ya, one mg, 3 chapter books and 3 picture books, but that was over two weeks...and I went to the lake almost every day.
I probably only read one ya or full size mg a week, plus picture books or early chapter books that I'm using for inspiration or research.
Sorry your in a bit of a slump right now...(Try having your basment flood twice in two weeks and then discovering mold growing on some of your furniture...It's about to put me over the edge!)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hopefully some of my silly questions cheered you up. I understand your frustration about when you find a book you love you want to shout it from the mountain top and for everyone to run out and get it. Perhaps you review gets one person to buy the book and they love it and tell one person and it starts a trend, so don't doubt that your reviews aren't making a difference. Writer's appreciate the effort people put into reviewing their books. :)
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
