...Or rather, two months without the ability to go on the internet. Granted, please take into account that my huge exams are in like 2 months, so I will most likely not be posting much from now until November. Please stick by me, I'll be holding some swag contests, and maybe another The Book Depository contest, once my exams are over! Also, from November-March, I hope to get a whole lot of reading done! I imagine my TBR pile will have at least doubled in two months' time!
I haven't been reading anything, unless you want me to discuss my texts for English for you. Sadly this means Glimmerglass will remain my "currently reading" for a while. This is terrible...not the book, the book is fine, it's just caught me at a really bad time. :\
Anyway, yeah, this also means that my weekly giveaways newsletter will not be in effect for until after exams too, since I will not be online as much, and not be entering/visiting many giveaways.
I'll be skipping this week's IMM, especially since I only received one book, and will be posting on in 2 weeks time-- I hope that at least 10 books will have reached me. :)
Question:
What's your average book intake for one week? (how much you read & how much you receive/buy/borrow)

I read at least 2 novels a week. I am a work from home mom so my time is filled. I do visit the library daily- btwn me and my daughters we all love to read.
As for buying- I buy a book weekly- sometimes from the used rack at the library or new releases but always something!=)

Wow, good luck for your exams! My big exams just got over - BUT, results are out this week. *gulp* No internet? That sucks! But perfectly understandable. :D
Sorry for taking so long, but I've just made a post about the award you gave me. I just wanted to say thanks. If you're interested, you can read the post here: http://mediamolly.blogspot.com/2010/08/off-topic-post-more-blog-awards.html
Thanks again Cassandra! Have a lovely day.
p.s. - hahaha! Word verification: GREDS. Is it mocking me?!? I know. GRADES. :O
It's very hard for me to balance everything, especially with my writing and my blog, but I try to get a book read every week!
Thanks for commenting! :) I receive email notifications with every comment. Just a short reply...
Elle: Good luck with the results! They're scary, but just think that they won't matter in a few weeks, or a few months. I guess it depends on how badly you go. :P That award is going everywhere, it's like every blogger has reveived it at one point or another. (I've received it twice... so far)
Carolina: I have to pack in 8 different texts within the span of two days for my exams. (which starts tomorrow OH MY! :O) I don't know how I'm going to do it. For this reason, I just can't read anything else for fear of pushing "vital" information out of my brain. My books on my bookshelf are calling to me...but alas, I cannot just succumb to my desires. :'(
Thanks for visiting my blog :) I think i average about a book a week. I recently came home from a comic convention so i have 30 plus books along with my other tbr pile so right now im not buying any books unless i get gift cards for my nook, hopw your exams work out well
In summer, I usually read up to 3 books per day.
And when I go to the library...(which is kind of like..a once in a three months chance) I grabbed a whole backpack of the books..up to 20-some books. (once, this little boy saw me with my back pack full of books and he called out, 'Mom, she's running away from her house!!!' I cracked up so hard).
During a week...from publisher I can get from zero copy to 14 (14 was one time I received from a publisher, on a day).
I rarely buy books (because my parents doesn't allow me, they think I spend too much on it)
so during the school year I borrow 2 books almost daily! :)
