In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi of The Story Siren, and inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie!
No vlog for this week.
I know the photo goes into the sidebar, but it looks blocky if smaller. :P |

I suck. I've thrown this at the top of my to-read pile. This one is the AUSTRALIAN edition, which explains the different cover.

She's awesome. I can't wait to read her debut novel in February! And yes, I do hope to be an unofficial part of her blog tour and giveaway some stuff, such as these bookmarks. ;)

This is the best condition a Bookmooch book has come in, for me. I'm not a big fan of the paranormal, but this looks good.

Usually to prepare for reviews I take notes when I read on the characters and scenes. I also jot down some of my favorite quotes. It's just the small comments and opinions I have that I write down and then put it all together when its time for the review.

I've recently found that writing my reviews while I'm half way through the book actually helps me a lot then I can come back with a totally different mindset once I've read the very last page and be psyched to complete it. I usually just prepare myself by playing music in the background while I write.

The way I write reviews has evolved over the past few months. At the moment, I try to write little notes while I'm reading the book so that at the end I can remember all the thoughts I had while actually reading. It helps a lot! And the sooner I write the review after finishing the book, the easier it is.
Have a great week!

I will be looking forward to your review of Anna and the French Kiss.
How do I write my reviews? I usually keep little notes while I am reading the book. In the end I combine those notes along with my final thoughts.I try to write the reviews immediately after I am done with the book. But if a book affected me a lot, it takes some time for me to gather my thoughts.

I prepare for my reviews by mentally mapping out what I'm going to say and then diving in. Not too much really as I'm already noting things as I read.

I used to take notes and place stickies as I read, because of that I really like reading ebooks and all my notes are electronic rather than on paper that can be lost!
