This is terrible but I don't buy used books! I like my books fresh. :)

Hey Cass, if the question is not to your liking...pick a different one. The Idea of Weekend question is to just ask a question for the weekend. Pick and choose what you'd like. I will make sure to post that explanation next weekend.

I have never bought any used books mainly because I have never found any. I buy my books either from a bookstore or an online book store called Flipkart which is an Indian equivalent of Book Depository.Better World Books is a good site for used books, I have heard ,which even supports global literacy.

I'm just the opposite, I more or less only buy mine used. Usually in thrift shops or on the internet. I like the feeling of sharing the book and i give a lot of my books away when I've read them
