Waiting on Wednesday (19): Forgotten

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Title: Forgotten
{goodreads}
Author: Cat Patrick
Release Date:June 7 2011 (US)
Publisher: Little Brown (US)

If anyone knows about the Australian release date & publisher, please comment! Much appreciated.

Why is this on my top-wishlist?
Forgotten is a debut contemporary novel! This sounds so good. Hopefully I won't be disappointed, since the covers are all so, so pretty! I'm tempted to get all three versions--beautiful.

Synopsis (Goodreads):
AUS cover

Each night when 16 year-old London Lane goes to sleep, her whole world disappears. In the morning, all that's left is a note telling her about a day she can't remember. The whole scenario doesn't exactly make high school or dating that hot guy whose name she can't seem to recall any easier. But when London starts experiencing disturbing visions she can't make sense of, she realizes it's time to learn a little more about the past she keeps forgetting - before it destroys her future.

Part psychological drama, part romance, and part mystery, this thought-provoking novel will inspire readers to consider the what-if's in their own lives and recognize the power they have to control their destinies.

i like the US cover best ~ no idea when it's coming out here...
This was my WoW pick last week! Great choice, this one really sounds different and amazing. As for favorite cover...can't really decide between the AUS and the UK cover. I like the color and swirl effect of the AUS one, but the UK one does something very cool with that mirror effect (especially considering the past/future symbolism).
Ah, the US cover I like more. I love butterflies :D
Anyway, this sounds like such a fantastic read. I love psychology and romance and mystery, so if the three are mixed together, well I'm going to be anxious waiting!
This one does look great! I happen to really lose the Aus cover for this particular novel but they are all splendid. Thanks for sharing!

My WoW
I nearly put this as my WOW pick. I prefer the UK cover :)

I can't decide between the Aus and the UK ones, they're both beautiful. My WoW
This sounds brilliant! I hadn't heard about this one yet, and I'm glad I did. I'll have to add it to my list. Great choice!

How to Knit a Heart Back Home
By Rachael Herron
Publication date: March 1, 2011

Lucy Harrison sells books by day and volunteers with the Cypress Hollow fire department by night. Her life is just the way she likes it—full, even-keeled, and smooth—until bad-boy ex-cop Owen Bancroft comes back to town. Lucy has always been fearless, never scared about diving in to help others. When it comes to risking her heart, however, she realizes she's absolutely terrified.

In a small town like Cypress Hollow, everyone knows your business—and there is nowhere to hide. Then Lucy and Owen are thrown together by the discovery of the lost work of local legend, knitting guru Eliza Carpenter. Now Owen, adrift and struggling to redefine himself as a civilian without a badge, will have to learn how to open himself up to life's new possibilities . . . while Lucy decides just how much of herself she's willing to gamble on love.
